1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In).
Birthday Data
Data you voluntarily enter, including:
- Names and birthdates of people you add
- Photos you upload for birthday contacts
- Notes, groups, and relationship types
- Mood calendar entries
Device Information
We may collect basic device information for crash reporting and app performance improvements.

- To sync your data across your devices

3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Firebase Storage). All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
4. Third-Party Services
WishAlarm uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase — Authentication, database, storage, and analytics
- Google Sign-In — Optional authentication method
- Apple Sign-In — Optional authentication method
- DeepSeek AI — Generating birthday wishes and gift suggestions (only the person's first name, age, and relationship type are shared)
- Google AdMob — Ads in the free version (see section 5)
5. Advertising
The free version of WishAlarm shows ads from Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). Premium subscribers never see ads.
To show and measure ads, Google may collect: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking; an approximate location derived from your IP address; advertising data, such as which ads were shown and how you interacted with them; and diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information. Google uses this data for third-party advertising: showing ads, limiting how often you see them, measuring them and preventing fraud. We don't share your birthday contacts, photos, notes or account details with Google or advertisers. The app also downloads its ad settings from our server; that request doesn't include your account or anything you saved in the app.
Your choices: iOS asks whether WishAlarm may track you. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads still appear but without your advertising identifier, and you can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app first asks for your consent with Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time from “Ad privacy choices” in the app's settings. How Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your birthday information stays private.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data at any time through the app
- Edit or delete any birthday entries
- Delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Opt out of notifications at any time
8. Children's Privacy
WishAlarm is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
